While bathing the other day, I made the most relaxing discovery. I would have a pic for you all, but showing bathing pics of myself is not my thing, to say the least.
So I will explain what I did and I am sure that you will want to try this.
Fill your bath tub with as hot of water as you can stand. Take both of your legs and cross them, resting them on the wall in front of you. Your legs will be in the air as your body lays parallel. It will be in an "L" shape. Close your eyes and cover your head all but your face. Make sure that your ears are immersed and that you leave a trickle of water audible in the water. trickling water is so relaxing. Place your hands under your head and relax. Stay in that position until the water turns cold. It is so relaxing. Go ahead and try it! ;)

Love Like That Babe but Don't Cross the Line
There comes a time when me as a Christian person has got to get on the offense. Today and for this cause, I will do just that! What I say (or type) comes from the heart with righteous indignation. I want to make something perfectly clear. I will not be sorry if I offend you. If I do, take it up with the Lord.
I want to get something straight with a lot of very confused people. Love me or hate me, this will stick with you, I am sure.
If you know me and I love you, I love with a burning passion. If you can't handle that kind of love, don't meet me or be my friend, because I will scare you. Believe me.
Anyway, this isn't about me, to say the least. However, it is about a lot of people that I love and care about. Let's get the definition of love straight. Love is something that we feel with our spirit, deep within. Love is ONLY given from the Lord Jesus Christ, because He is LOVE.
My God is a passionate lover. He was full of passion when He walked the earth and is still full of passion. There is absolutely nothing wrong with having a passionate kind of love.
"Yeah, sure Katy and where are you going with this".
I am right there...
Love one another with everything that is within you. Don't cross that line.
What line?
It is ok to be passionate about someone and love their very being. When I am around my best friend, Lisa, people would think we were lesbos. We are not, we like men, believe me. However, the passionate love and understanding that we have for one another is the same kind of passion that the Lord had for His disciples.
Matt. 26:49 - And forthwith he came to Jesus, and said, Hail, master; and kissed him.
Mark 14:45 - And as soon as he was come, he goeth straightway to him, and saith, Master, master; and kissed him.
There were accounts of the Lord kissing His disciples. His love for them was (is) so fervent.
My point is that we can be so passionate towards people because they bring that out of us. We can love them passionately, but plain and simple, if that line is crossed, it is sin.
What does God say about homosexuality?:
It is an abomination - abomination is defined as 1. Abhorrence; disgust.
God is disgusted with it. Period! Here have some Biblical clarity and have the Word handy to see for yourself.
Leviticus 18:22 - Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.
Leviticus 20:13 - If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
1 Corinthians 6: 9-10 - Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
Romans 1: 26-28 - For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
28And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
I pray the Lord doesn't turn anyone to a reprobate mind because they are decieved in believing that they are okay with being homosexual. Love one another, don't have sex with them. You can love that deep without crossing the line.

What Would You Do? I Need Some Serious Advice, Please
My heart is very troubled.
Not too long ago, my daughter and I were browsing around Facebook, trying to see if maybe her dad was on there. We ran into a few profiles with his name, but never added any of them because they had no pictures, etc.
Anyway, the other night I came on Facebook and went to Kayla's profile. I watch that thing like a hawk. I want to give her a little freedom, but at the same time, I know her password and I go to her profile all the time to monitor it. I noticed that she had added a profile named Zed Smith. Her father's name is that. Just the other day we found several with the same name.
Keep in mind that she never requested an add from any of them, that I can recall. She also wasn't even online the day that he was added.
Now I am trying to be nice as possible. It could very well be her dad, because the email and his birthday are right. I have written him two emails stating that I was concerned about who he was and that he needed to post a pic and email me back. Kayla has wrote on his wall asking him to talk.
See I don't appreciate this at all. Should I be really concerned? There are many other problems and situations which concerns me, that I won't mention on here. Put it this way, they are not good and that is my highest concern.
Kayla is already hurting a lot because this man who is her father never attempts to contact her. Now this profile appears out of nowhere and the person claiming to be her father wont even talk to her. What should I do? Make her delete him? Will that make it worse on her? I just don't know what to do.

Gee Thanks For Being the Bearer of Bad News Mom
Nice to know that I am aging! Hey I am 30, you're kidding right mom?
Tonight I called my mom. I haven't talked to her in awhile because I had a prepaid phone and it was too costly. I have free nights and weekends now but anyway, TMI lol
We were talking about many different things. Bless her heart, she can't find a job. Please prayer warriors pray for my mom. Her name is Gina, she lives in Tuscon and is an esthetician in need of a job.
Somehow we got on the subject of my eyes. I have this small bump on my eyelid that appeared last week. At first I thought it was a stye. I did some research and found that it could be different things. Anyways, I described it the best I could to my mom and the first thing that she says is we all need sunblock. I am thinking, "yeah, mom and what in the world does this have to do with this thing on my eye?" lol To my surprise not using some sort of sunblock on (not just me but the entire family) is horrible. Of course being the esthetician that she is, I got the third degree on sunblock :) Love you Mom.
To make matters worse she said all that to say, "uhm, you are just stuck with it for life Katy, it's a sign that you are getting old".
I'm like "what? no way and there is nothing that I can do about this?"
"Sure cosmetic surgery in which no insurance will cover".
This is no fair, I am not old and this thing will be removed!
I mean it's not gruesome and you can barely see it. BUT I CAN SEE IT! uhg..
I guess it's back to wearing eyeshadow - I can't handle this!

Smack in Da Hood
LMBO - this is sooooooo funny and if you know my bouncy little six year old, you will be laughing too.
I cannot even contain myself right now and am having a hard time writing this lol
It's nice out so I opened our back screen door, right. The boys are outside playing/sweeping leaves off the porch (well LZ is). Jorli on the other hand cannot move without running, skipping, jumping, being loud and all of the above lol.
Anyway, I was in the living room, folding clothes and all of a sudden I hear "black persoooooooooon" "hey black persoooooon". OMG he has a big mouth.
We are smack dab in the hood and my white kids is outside trying to get someone's attention by calling out "black person?".
He's gonna get my butt kicked one day, I just feel it lol.
He definitely says what he feels LMBO

How Do You Lose Your Shoes?
Do you have a boy?
If so, you know exactly what it is like to go through shoes. I am telling you, they will wear shoes slap out. They got a brand new pair for Christmas. They are already worn so bad that the toes are totally gone! LZ totally "lost" his shoes. The ones that are in the pic are Jorli's.
How in the world do you "lose" a pair of shoes?!? Anyway, I told them that I would go to Walmart to see what they had.
I sure was excited to find them both a nice $17 pair of shoes at the nice price of a whoopin $5. Hopefully these will last them until Easter, at least!
They both have this thought that new shoes will help them run faster. I think it's hilarious and I just play along with them. Needless to say, they spent the entire evening running back and forth through the house with their new shoes on :) lol That is when they got away with it.

The Techies Valentine
Today I decided to log onto an old email account and found myself reading old emails. Some brought tears, some made me roll my eyes, then some made me smile, like this one, I wanted to share it. Have a beautiful Valentines Day.
INSTALLING LOVE:
Tech Support: Yes, how can I help you?
Customer: Well, after much consideration, I've decided to install Love. Can you guide me through the process?
Tech Support: Yes. I can help you. Are you ready to proceed?
Customer: Well, I'm not very technical, but I think I'm ready. What do I do first?
Tech Support: The first step is to open your Heart. Have you located your Heart?
Customer: Yes, but there are several other programs running now. Is it okay to install Love while they are running?
Tech Support: What programs are running?
Customer: Let's see, I have Past Hurt, Low Self-Esteem, Grudge and Resentment running right now.
Tech Support: No problem,Love will gradually erase Past Hurt from your current operating system. It may remain in your permanent memory but it will no longer disrupt other programs. Love will eventually override Low Self-Esteem with a module of its own called High Self- Esteem. However, you have to completely turn off Grudge and Resentment. Those programs prevent Love from being properly installed. Can you turn those off?
Customer: I don't Know how to turn them off. Can you tell me how?
Tech Support: With pleasure. Go to your start menu and invoke Forgiveness. Do this as many times as necessary until Grudge and Resentment have been completely erased.
Customer: Okay, done! Love has started installing itself. Is that normal?
Tech Support: Yes, but remember that you have only the base program. You need to begin connecting to other hearts in order to get the upgrades.
Customer: Oops! I have an error message already. It says, "Error - Program not run on external components." What should I do?
Tech Support: Don't worry. It means that the Love program is set up to run on Internal Hearts, but has not yet been run on your Heart. In non-technical terms, it simply means you have to Love yourself before you can Love others.
Customer: So, what should I do?
Tech Support: Pull down Self-Acceptance; then click on the following files: Forgive-Self; Realize Your Worth; and Acknowledge your Limitations.
Customer: Okay, done.
Tech Support: Now, copy them to the "My Heart" directory. The system will overwrite any conflicting files and begin patching faulty programming Also, you need to delete Verbose Self-Criticism from all directories and empty your Recycle Bin to make sure it is completely gone and never comes back.
Customer: Got it. Hey! My heart is filling up with new files. Smile is playing on my monitor and Peace and Contentment are copying themselves all over My Heart. Is this normal ?
Tech Support: Sometimes. For others it takes awhile, but eventually everything gets it at the proper time. So Love is installed and running. One more thing before We hang up. Love is Freeware. Be sure to give it and its various modules to everyone you meet. They will in turn share it with others and return some cool modules back to you.
