Qualities that Women Find Irresistible in Men

Honestly, ladies and gentlemen I am very interested in what men like, what they need and their desires in a relationship. According to ALL men that I have talked to in these past few years about the subject, men seem to be quite simple! What a relief...

Ladies the fact of the matter is that guys are too simple. We are the ones who make them "Something to try and figure out". We are the more complex gender. Or are we? Really everyone! We can all be simple with just one key factor. That is GREAT communication skills. If you are lacking in this area, there are great books out there that can show you how to be the best communicator around.

Without COMMUNICATION, you have NO relationship! ANY relationship!

Now my point of this is to share things that women love in men. Men are simple; they want food, sex and money. Just kidding, but for the most part ladies, they want to please us! ;) Aww

Men, ladies love the fact that you want to please us. It is adorable, admirable and honorable. Thank YOU!

We love conversation! So glad that Shon Hyneman brought this up! When we ask how your day went, we want more of a response than "good". In all reality, we are asking "what made your day great (or bad). We NEED conversation! It's more than just an answer.

Gentleness, in all areas. It is so attractive to have a man who is gentle in speech, has gentle hands and a gentle aura. Now, on the other hand, I personally love the quality of a man who is firm with love. A man to keep me straight and my thoughts into perspective. This is just Godly order. Everything can be done, gently.

Eager to teach. I LOVE learning. I STARVE everyday to learn something new. I am constantly seeking something new to learn. A man who always has something new to show me... new aspirations, new goals, new lessons on life, new experiences, new anything PLEASE teach me about it! :) So irresistible.

Loves the things I love: kids, outreach, God, sports, writing, reading, people. Enough said! :)

A good listener. I love conversation and someone who is willing to hear me out and give me good feedback! There is just something about a man who is attentive to what I have to say and is willing to either give me advice or acknowledge that I am talking to him. Love it!

There is a lot more about qualities of a great man! This is just the beginning! :)

My Ohio Adventure, This Time ;) Ha!

It WAS NOT planned. Are any of my adventures ever really planned? Didn't think so :)

Not even a week before Boot Camp I spoke with my online friend, Erin about how I wished she lived closer to Columbus so I could go to the Boot Camp and meet her, FINALLY!

It worked out and I was just 17 hours away! Woo hoo. Wanting to meet the one who connected me to FAC in Cincinnati (the place I was going to move to), I thought it would be cool to swing by and pick up Terry.

Well it didn't happen that easily. I ended up being too tired to drive all the way to Dover (2 hrs north of Columbus and 3 1/2 hours north of Cincy) because then I may not have time to go to Thursday night service! I HAD to be there for the opening service, so I stayed at a hotel in Cincy on Thursday night, so I could take Terry.

Two AM Thursday night I had to drive back to Cincy lol. Needless to say, I almost killed us all taking Terry home! I literally fell asleep! And why a 20 year old doesn't have his license yet? Just BOO! lol

Anyway, we headed out for Boot Camp bright and early Friday morning just to slam into a 2x2 in the road doing almost 70 MPH!. IT BENT my WHEEL! lol Thank God for Geico roadside service and the nice mechanic who rescued us!

I mossied onto the church, donut and all.

Friday night RAIN OUT. However the kids and I decided to take advantage of it and splash in the ankle deep waters. Talk about a good time and very memorable. We had a blast and made the most of it!

I finally got to meet DJ (Erin's hubby) who can rock the violin! Then I met Erin that night after church! She is SO funny and fun to be around! Her babies are gorgeous and I am just blessed to finally meet her!

Friday night service was amazing! I enjoyed all of the awesome testimonies!

Getting 5 kids ready is a task and we were late Saturday lol. You know I hate being late! We had a good time with blitzing and reaching the lost. My kids love doing outreach and this was definitely a great experience.

Saturday night I was caught by a State Trooper swerving and was pulled over in DJ's car! LOL I mean the thing is touchy!... Power steering maxed! Phew, he let me slide ;) All it takes is a smile and a little prayer - oh and a little brother who let him know we were on our way back from a church convention. I was NOT drunk!... on liquor.

Sunday service at Pastor Hall's in Dover was outstanding! He preached "You cannot follow a parked car". I found that to be quite appropriate, considering! LOL He and Sis Hall were very nice and gracious. I can see making their church my church. That church seems to have a good outreach structure! I just wished I could have attended the bike rally this weekend! Oh well :-/

Over all it was fun! I had to leave a day later and it took a day to get home but all is well. I just loved the fact that I got to spend a night in my favorite place and meet many new people! Life is grand! ;)

Envision Beyond Your Years Like Abraham

If your vision can be fulfilled in this lifetime, it is too small. Abraham saw beyond!! TF Tenney

Have a vision for your ministry with your children! My children have been prophesied over and I see beyond my years (should the Lord tarry) my children evangelizing the world! They all have callings over their lives. I am so humbled that the Lord has chosen us for something great. I feel like I am walking right into my purpose and all three of my babies are right with me.

Do not ever leave your kids out of your ministry. Take them with you when you are doing outreach. Have them sing with you in your music ministry. Allow them to lay hands on people and pray with them. Always envision them beyond your years, doing a work for God.

Leave your Stones of Legacy...

Solitude Ideas for Single Moms

Calgon take me away?

Right...

That is after the kids are pounding the door down, fighting, blaring the tv or radio, etc etc etc.! However Mom, you HAVE to make time for yourself. This is necessary for your health. Here are some ways that a single mom can make time to bask in solitude and relax.

The park! Take the kids to your local park. This will give them something to do, put everyone outside and give you a chance to RELAX...

I love to sit on the swing and read a good book, at the coolness of the day.

Enjoy a nice bath when the kids are in bed. This is a good time to meditate and relax, too. I have been known to fall asleep in the tub - don't ask lol

Go for a long drive. Driving does a lot for me. I love creation, a nice cool breeze in my hair and the ultimate control of driving. I love music so driving and music is perfect. Even if you have to take the kids; make it fun or get them something exciting to do, while you drive.

Single moms often find excuses not to make time to do the things they love or to just relax and smell the roses. You MUST teach your kids to slow down! The best way to do that is to slow down yourself. This was a HARD lesson for me to learn! Good luck ;)
